Many people are asking themselves this question.
From ancient times of human civilization, we are faced with the dilemma of personal freedom. It is often limited or even totally taken away – by the stronger, wiser, more influential, or simply by the power of nature and the environment in which we live.
The World restricts human; whenever we seek freedom outside – instead of within us – we fall into the trap; we become slaves. Enslave by our ideas, dreams, life plans and desires; we follow someone, giving him the unshakable trust (which is also a limitation of freedom); fear of expressing ourselves paralyzes and closes our mouth; anxiety caused by the uncertainties takes away the courage to act.
From the moment of birth, he learns and improves – and while this development he chooses what is right and what is wrong. He creates himself as an artist creates his work of art. Yes, life is a work of art! In order not to waste it, we have to be quite creative. Regardless of which path you choose, you will be the person responsible for each brushstroke, each color, and shadow on the canvas – like a painter in charge of each element in his image. You create yourself.
Life is completely neutral. Does not favor the good or evil – it is impartial; Such is his nature. It is up to you to decide how it becomes. Choosing dark path you walked in darkness; choosing the path of light, you walk in the full glare of the sun. If you want to become wise, you will be; if you prefer to be a criminal, no one can stop you! Whatever you choose, it is your decision. Even God does not stand in your way but allows you for everything you desire. At most will try to advise you on what is the most appropriate. Never, however, disallow or request anything against your will.
Do not say that you can not; do not say that it is impossible for some reason as by saying that you are imprisoning yourself. Your prison can be anything: the opinions, social status, customs, religion or even a mortgage. Each of these things seems to bestow great treasures. But in fact, it captivates you and does not allow to live life to the fullest.
Then how can we be truly free? True freedom is the understanding; it is the awareness of the nature of all things. We do not have to strive for it or fight in its defense. If we allow ourselves to understand the laws governing reality in which we live, we will not have to worry about the loss of freedom. So carefully observe both – the external world and yourself. Cultivate behaviors that promote freedom of all sentient beings – it also means abstaining from restricting the freedom of others. If you practice that with the full awareness, the universe will have no secrets from you.
Be happy, wise and free! 🙂
